but seriously. this was a hit over at Y!, so i thought i might share it with people here who may..er. appreciate it. i dunno. i'm a little confused, because the perverted people at Y! actually prefer this stupid kissy scene as opposed to actual /smut/. weird!

ANYWAY, i just want to portray a few realistic gay couples. realistic as in, not in SD anime form, no dinnerplate-sized eyes, no flowery screentones and other assorted fagginess...etc etc. it's just a vaguely emo-ish guy and a sort of preppy guy having a sappy, intimate moment.

apologies to anyone who's watched me and don't like the gay. i'm not opposed to trying a female ( or straight, even ) couple. any takers?

the colors are wonderful. the emotion is clear. and i always love your combination of simple lines and colors with details. nice use of negative space n stuff too.

now, i really like that. it's much better than the blown-out-of-the-water gay couples portrayed most of the time on here. i love the perpective, and how accurate everythng is. great work! :thumbsup: instant fave

Yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks you can draw a gay couple without it being ZOMG SHOUNEN-AI!1! I ahcve a couple very similar to this... you make me want to draw them. :)

Anyhoo, I still love this pic from when I saw it on Y!G.
