i know what you're saying. ( TAKE IT Y!GALLERY, YOU *****! )
but yeah.
but seriously. this was a hit over at Y!, so i thought i might share it with people here who may..er. appreciate it. i dunno. i'm a little confused, because the perverted people at Y! actually prefer this stupid kissy scene as opposed to actual /smut/. weird!
ANYWAY, i just want to portray a few realistic gay couples. realistic as in, not in SD anime form, no dinnerplate-sized eyes, no flowery screentones and other assorted fagginess...etc etc. it's just a vaguely emo-ish guy and a sort of preppy guy having a sappy, intimate moment.
apologies to anyone who's watched me and don't like the gay. i'm not opposed to trying a female ( or straight, even ) couple. any takers?
the colors are wonderful. the emotion is clear. and i always love your combination of simple lines and colors with details. nice use of negative space n stuff too.
everything you do is so pretty. from the color palette to the lines, it all makes me squeal with glee. and your characters are so attractive, so that helps. very lovely.
now, i really like that. it's much better than the blown-out-of-the-water gay couples portrayed most of the time on here. i love the perpective, and how accurate everythng is. great work! instant fave

Yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks you can draw a gay couple without it being ZOMG SHOUNEN-AI!1! I ahcve a couple very similar to this... you make me want to draw them.
Anyhoo, I still love this pic from when I saw it on Y!G.
